Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of bernie.news and of the news alerts published by Bernie News Network Ltd ("BNN", "we", "us"). By using the site or subscribing to our alerts, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

BNN publishes breaking news coverage of Israel and the Middle East and distributes it free of charge through this website and third-party platforms including WhatsApp, Telegram and X. There is no paywall, no account, and no payment is required to receive alerts.

We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including individual distribution channels, without notice.

Accuracy and no reliance

BNN reports on rapidly developing events. We verify information before publication under our verification policy, and we correct errors under our corrections policy. Even so, reporting on unfolding events can be incomplete or subsequently revised.

BNN's alerts are journalism, not emergency guidance. They are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind. Do not rely on them as a substitute for instructions from Home Front Command, emergency services, or any competent authority. In an emergency, follow official instructions.

Contributions

Contributions made through our contribute page are voluntary and support BNN's newsroom generally. They are not a purchase, subscription, or membership, and confer no editorial influence, advance access, or entitlement to any specific coverage.

Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms; BNN does not receive or store your payment card details. Contributions are not tax-deductible unless we state otherwise in writing. If you believe a contribution was made in error, contact us at contact@bernie.news.

Intellectual property

BNN's reporting, the BNN name and the BNN logo are our property or that of our licensors. You may quote briefly from our reporting for news reporting, commentary, or research, provided you attribute it to Bernie News Network and, online, link to the article you are quoting.

Republishing our articles in full, or systematically reproducing our output, requires written permission. Automated scraping or bulk extraction of the site for redistribution is not permitted; our RSS feed is available for legitimate syndication and aggregation.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to misrepresent your affiliation with BNN, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe such use is occurring.

Third-party platforms and links

Our alerts are delivered through platforms we do not control, and our reporting links to external sources. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or privacy practices of those third parties, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BNN is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or the alerts. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our handling of personal information is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes and governing law
