Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's weekly multi-front security assessment was cancelled Thursday after initially being postponed from Wednesday, according to sources familiar with the matter.
The meeting, which is normally chaired by Netanyahu and addresses developments across Israel's various security fronts, was originally scheduled for November 4 before being moved to November 5.
No reason was given for the cancellation, and the Prime Minister's Office did not respond to a request for comment, according to the report.
The cancellation comes amid heightened tensions with Iran and reports of American preparations for possible renewed military operations.
