Police arrested a man carrying a knife near Democrats leader Yair Golan in Tel Aviv today, according to a police statement cited by Ynet.
The Democrats said Golan's security team restrained the man after he approached him during an election-day campaign visit. Police said the suspect did not threaten Golan and that no attempted stabbing took place. The man was taken for questioning.
