What was initially suspected to be a possible car-ramming attack near the West Bank settlement of Ateret is now believed to have been a hit-and-run incident, according to Israeli security officials.
The revised assessment follows an incident in which an Israeli civilian was lightly injured after being struck by a vehicle. The driver fled, prompting the IDF and police to launch a search operation and establish roadblocks in the surrounding area.
