Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Friday that Israel is investigating whether the attacker aboard the Dubai to Tel Aviv flydubai flight was acting on someone else's orders, warning that "whoever sent him will pay a very heavy price."
Netanyahu said the attacker had undergone "Islamist radicalization" and intended to crash the aircraft with all its passengers aboard.
He credited Yaniv and his companions with preventing "a disaster on the scale of 9/11," saying the picture was becoming clearer.
