"The most severe disaster was prevented," a senior Israeli official told Channel 12 following the emergency diversion of a flydubai flight from the UAE to Saudi Arabia.
The official said the investigation is increasingly centered on the copilot, amid indications he may have tried to take control of the aircraft and intentionally crash it while it was en route to Israel.
