Flydubai is reportedly preparing to dispatch another aircraft from Dubai to Saudi Arabia, where it will collect the passengers before continuing on to Israel.
Separately, an Israeli passenger told i24NEWS that the incident aboard the original flight allegedly involved an attempt to stab one of the pilots. According to her account, Israeli passengers intervened and helped bring the situation under control.
The circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been independently confirmed.
