The IDF says it has completed the destruction of Hezbollah's major underground network in the Ali Taher Ridge and Beaufort Castle area, demolishing the final tunnels this evening with more than 1,100 tons of explosives.
The wider network consisted of eight tunnels stretching a combined 5.4 kilometers. The two routes beneath Ali Taher alone extended for more than two kilometers and contained dozens of Iranian-made rockets, missiles and drones, as well as anti-tank weapons, firearms, hundreds of mines and additional explosives.
According to the military, the Ali Taher complex functioned as the "nerve center" for Hezbollah's Badr regional division, which operates in southern Lebanon north of the Litani River. The IDF described the site as "strategic infrastructure" developed over roughly two decades with Iranian financing and planning.
