BREAKING: U.S. forces launched strikes against Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps targets inside Iran at 12 p.m. ET, according to U.S. Central Command.
CENTCOM said the operation followed recent attempted IRGC attacks against American service members deployed in the region and commercial vessels traveling through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iranian state television reported multiple explosions on Qeshm Island and in the Strait of Hormuz, including five in Mesan village and four in the strait.
