The IDF and Shin Bet say three terrorists were killed Friday in an Israeli Air Force strike in the Jenin

By Sammy Tisser,

The IDF and Shin Bet say three terrorists were killed Friday in an Israeli Air Force strike in the Jenin area, including senior Hamas operative Qais Bitawi.

According to the security agencies, the strike was carried out using precise Shin Bet intelligence and targeted Bitawi along with two other operatives traveling with him. Weapons were later found inside their vehicle.

Bitawi was described as a senior figure in the former Jenin terrorist network, which Israel says was dismantled during Operation Iron Wall. He allegedly helped plan and carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and security forces, provided funding for terrorist activity, and maintained contacts with Hamas figures in Gaza and abroad.

He was also a relative of Noor Bitawi, the commander of the Jenin network who was killed by Israeli forces in May 2025.

The IDF and Shin Bet said operations against terrorist activity across Judea and Samaria will continue.
