The IDF and Shin Bet said Israeli forces killed two Hamas Nukhba operatives who participated in the October 7 assault on the Re'im military base, including a former bodyguard of Yahya Sinwar.

The IDF said it killed Hazem Mousa in the Khan Younis area on Sunday and, together with the Shin Bet, killed Razek Sahil Suleiman Abu Shahma in a separate strike on Monday. The military identified both men as members of Hamas's Nukhba force and said Abu Shahma had served as Sinwar's bodyguard.

According to the statement, the two had recently planned attacks against IDF troops and Israeli civilians while attempting to rebuild Hamas's capabilities, in what Israel described as violations of the ceasefire. The IDF said the strikes were carried out to remove the threat posed by the two men.
