Prime Minister Netanyahu says Israel rejects the US-backed Board of Peace's 15-point roadmap for Gaza

Prime Minister Netanyahu says Israel rejects the US-backed Board of Peace's 15-point roadmap for Gaza, stressing that the IDF will not withdraw further until Hamas is fully disarmed. "The IDF will not carry out any withdrawal until Hamas is disarmed," he said.
Netanyahu said disarmament must include "the heavy weapons, the less-heavy weapons, all weapons," adding that Israel is demanding "genuine disarmament, not a fictitious one." Addressing claims that Israel had accepted the roadmap, he declared: "So here I am saying it again: Israel rejects the 15-point document."
The proposal has been accepted by Hamas, while Israel continues discussing its objections with Washington. Netanyahu said "some" of the ideas being presented by the US are acceptable to Israel and others are not.
He added that the IDF will continue acting against threats to Israeli troops and civilians, while reiterating his opposition to the establishment of a Palestinian state in Gaza or the West Bank.
