The IDF says it has begun carrying out precise strikes in southern Lebanon after what it described as a blatant violation of the ceasefire by Hezbollah.
Ahead of the operation, the military issued an urgent evacuation warning for residents of the village of Mansouri, instructing them to move at least one kilometer north of the area.
"In light of the Hezbollah terror organization's violation of the ceasefire agreement, the IDF is compelled to operate against it with force," said IDF Arabic-language spokesperson Lt. Col. Ella Waweya.
She also warned that "anyone located near Hezbollah operatives, facilities, or weapons is putting their life at risk."
The IDF has not yet disclosed what specific ceasefire violation prompted the strikes.
