German airline Condor has officially resumed flights to Israel, marking a historic return to a route tied to the airline's origins.
Condor's first-ever flight, on March 29, 1956, operated from Frankfurt to Israel, making today's service a symbolic return nearly 70 years later. It is the first time the airline has operated scheduled flights to Israel since the 1950s.
The airline is now operating daily nonstop flights between Frankfurt and Tel Aviv with an Airbus A320, providing connections through Frankfurt to destinations across Europe, North America, and beyond. Condor says the launch is especially significant as it celebrates its 70th anniversary, highlighting Israel's importance in the airline's history.
