An IDF engineering vehicle operating overnight in the military's southern Lebanon buffer zone was struck

An IDF engineering vehicle operating overnight in the military's southern Lebanon buffer zone was struck by an explosion near the Ali Taher Ridge. No injuries were reported, while the army is examining whether Hezbollah launched an explosive drone at the vehicle. Confirmation would make it the first such incident since the late-June framework agreement.
Beneath the ridge near Nabatieh lies an extensive Hezbollah complex where the IDF assesses dozens of operatives are sheltering. Despite their continued presence, the ceasefire terms prevent Israeli troops from taking control of the underground passages.
