Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his meeting with US President Donald Trump reaffirmed their shared determination to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, whether "through diplomatic means or other means."
Speaking to Fox News's Sean Hannity, Netanyahu called Tuesday's talks "one of the best meetings that we've had" and dismissed claims of tensions between the two leaders. "I always hate to disappoint our would-be critics who are trying to find cracks in our alliance," he said. "And what they find, like today, is a wall of granite."
Netanyahu also confirmed that he plans to visit New York despite Mayor Zohran Mamdani's calls for his arrest. "I'm going to New York," he said, accusing Mamdani of "pitting one group of New Yorkers against the others" and "turning them against New York Jews." Condemning the mayor's rhetoric, he added: "What are we in the 1930s? What is this? So much hate, so many lies."
