Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says his meeting with US President Donald Trump was "one of the best conversations" the two leaders have ever had, describing it as "an excellent" meeting marked by "full cooperation," "mutual support," and a shared understanding that "Iran won't have nuclear weapons."
Netanyahu said the talks provided "an opportunity to exchange ideas" and "coordinate on things that are important for the security and for the future of Israel," adding that the discussions also covered other shared strategic goals.
Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, are now attending a memorial service for the late pro-Israel Republican senator Lindsey Graham, where President Trump and other senior US officials are also in attendance.
