Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will travel to Washington on Monday at the invitation of President Donald Trump, the Prime Minister's Office said.
Netanyahu will meet Trump at the White House on Tuesday and will attend the funeral of Senator Lindsey Graham, whom the statement described as a friend of Israel.
Graham died on July 11 at the age of 71 from an aortic dissection. The South Carolina Republican was one of Israel's most prominent supporters in Congress and a close ally of Trump, who is expected to deliver a tribute at the service at Washington National Cathedral.
