Several municipalities across Israel have begun opening public bomb shelters as a precaution, following security assessments that rising tensions between the United States and Iran could potentially lead to an Iranian attack on Israel.
Among the cities taking action are Ramat Gan, Karmiel, Eilat, and several others. While the Home Front Command has not changed its official guidelines, local authorities say the move is intended to improve preparedness. In Ramat Gan, residents were also urged to ensure shared building shelters are ready for use if needed, as municipal officials continue coordinating closely with the Home Front Command.
