Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense has issued nationwide emergency instructions through its National Early Warning

Saudi Arabia's Civil Defense has issued nationwide emergency instructions through its National Early Warning Platform as Iranian attacks reach the kingdom, the authority said. The move signals a significant widening of the conflict onto Saudi territory.
Air defenses were active around King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran, in the Eastern Province, earlier as an attack targeted the area, according to reports. King Abdulaziz is a Royal Saudi Air Force base in the Dhahran area, part of the Dammam metropolitan region at the heart of Saudi Arabia's oil industry and home to major Saudi Aramco facilities, including the Ras Tanura oil port. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it was striking bases in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Civil Defense instructed anyone receiving a warning to stay calm and follow official instructions, to move immediately to the nearest safe place inside a building away from windows, and to avoid rooftops, balconies, glass and open areas. It said people caught outdoors should take cover behind a solid barrier, and that drivers receiving an alert should stop at the side of the road, away from bridges and tall buildings. The authority said those who spot a threat should call emergency number 911 in the Mecca, Medina, Riyadh and Eastern Province regions, and 998 in the rest of the kingdom.
Iran launched its first direct attack on Saudi territory in months last week, setting off alerts near Prince Sultan Air Base at Al-Kharj, the main US installation in the kingdom. The attack follows the eleventh consecutive night of US strikes on Iran.
