President Donald Trump said the United States is not finished with Iran and intends to strike a site he said Tehran is trying to rebuild for nuclear work, in remarks from the Oval Office.

Trump said the U.S. will strike what he called the new site Iran is discussing, saying Iran is involved there because of nuclear weapons and is attempting to reconstitute a nuclear site. He said any location where Iran is even considering nuclear weapons work would be hit very hard.

Trump said U.S. forces are tracking the materials and activity at the site, an underground location, and would act against the area very soon, adding that Iran could do nothing about it.

He said that if the U.S. had left already, Iran would need 20 to 25 years to rebuild, but that Washington is not finished and is not leaving now.

Trump said there is no interest in meeting Iran until it is prepared to negotiate seriously, unlike what he said had happened so far, and that he does not intend to halt the strikes until then. He said Iran had not yet seen anything, and that the U.S. had so far been very nice and generous.
