The U.S. military says personnel have recovered unidentified remains from the site of Friday's Iranian ballistic missile attack in Jordan, where two American service members were killed and another was reported missing. According to U.S. Central Command, the remains are undergoing examination to determine their identity, while officials continue to withhold the names of those involved pending family notification.
In a separate incident, CENTCOM says another U.S. service member was killed Saturday in northern Iraq during the controlled disposal of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian one-way attack drone. A second soldier sustained minor injuries in the blast and is receiving medical treatment.
