Strikes are hitting infrastructure across southern Iran tonight, with bridges, an airport, a jetty and other infrastructure sites among the reported targets. Explosions were heard in Ahvaz, Qeshm and Bushehr, according to sources. Additional sources indicate that the Kahurestan Bridge in Hormozgan province, the Sirik jetty in Hormozgan and Iranshahr Airport were struck by missiles. The semi-official Fars News Agency, which reflects official Iranian positions, said a bridge at Bandar Khamir in Hormozgan was also targeted. Iranian sources said several locations around Ahvaz were hit by multiple missiles.
Iranian sources said a bridge carrying the road between Bandar Abbas and Shiraz was struck, describing the strikes as "American terrorist attacks." Fars said the Kahurestan Bridge carried the road between Bandar Abbas and Lar, which lies on the same route toward Shiraz, and that road maintenance teams are building an alternative route around the site.
