All contacts between the United States and Iran have been halted, sources indicate to BNN, as U.S. Central Command presses successive nights of strikes on Iran. Qatar is pushing for a conference call to restart the track, but Iranian negotiators have cut off contact with mediators, according to sources. The Trump administration's public position is that its representatives are still talking to Iran, though it says negotiations cannot move forward while Tehran restricts traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has said it will not negotiate while the strikes continue. BNN was not able to independently verify the state of the channel.

President Trump warned that the United States would strike bridges and power plants in Iran next week unless Tehran returns to the negotiating table, saying the strikes would "continue until I say it's enough." Iran's leadership has denounced the strikes as a war crime and filed a formal complaint with the United Nations Security Council.
