Tens of thousands of passengers are expected to receive cancellation notices after Israel's Shin Bet extended its ban on Israeli airlines landing in Dubai until the end of October, according to a report by N12's Dean Fischer.
The restriction, which had been set to expire at the beginning of September, will continue to apply to El Al, Arkia and Israir due to ongoing regional security tensions and concerns over a possible Iran-US escalation. The measure does not affect foreign airlines, with Flydubai and Etihad expected to continue operating flights between Ben Gurion Airport and the UAE as usual.
