U.S. Central Command said it began a third consecutive night of strikes against Iran at 4:45 p.m. Eastern time today, at President Trump's direction. The command said the strikes would continue "imposing a heavy cost on Iranian forces" and degrade their ability to attack civilians and commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz.

Strikes were reported in Isfahan in central Iran, Zanjan in the northwest, Mashhad in the northeast, and Bandar Abbas on the southern coast, according to sources.
