The Iranian Airbus A340 landed at Hodeidah in western Yemen, rather than at Sanaa, according to sources, with photographs showing the aircraft coming in to land. The plane had been heading toward Sanaa, where strikes hit the international airport, as we reported earlier. Strikes were under way at Hodeidah, according to sources, who said an attempt had been made to hit the runway before the aircraft touched down. It was not clear how the plane managed to land.
