The explosions heard around Bandar Abbas stem from an exchange between Iranian forces and U.S. warships off southern Iran, sources tell BNN. Iranian forces have been firing on U.S. naval vessels in the area, and the U.S. Navy has returned fire on coastal positions near Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island, according to sources.
