Iran says it launched a new wave of attacks against US-linked military and logistical sites across the Gulf

Iran says it launched a new wave of attacks against US-linked military and logistical sites across the Gulf, while American forces carried out a major round of strikes inside Iran.
The IRGC claimed its forces targeted support and refueling facilities used by US aircraft carriers at Oman's Duqm port, struck Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar with ballistic missiles and attacked military sites in Kuwait and Jordan. It also said a second vessel in the Strait of Hormuz was disabled. These claims have not been independently confirmed. Kuwait's military said its air defenses were intercepting hostile targets in the country's airspace.
US Central Command said American forces struck approximately 140 Iranian military targets in response to another attack on a commercial vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. The operation reportedly hit missile and drone positions, naval assets, ammunition depots, communications infrastructure and coastal surveillance sites using aircraft, drones and naval platforms.
