Iran fired missiles and drones toward the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar and Jordan in response to US strikes on Iran, prompting air defenses across the region to engage incoming threats.
The UAE said it was carrying out interceptions, Bahrain activated warning sirens, and Qatar sent emergency alerts urging residents to remain indoors as explosions were heard. Jordan also reported intercepting aerial threats over its territory, while Qatar later confirmed that its armed forces had intercepted an incoming missile.
