Following the escalation in the Strait of Hormuz, the United States has reportedly warned Gulf states to prepare for a possible Iranian response.
A senior U.S. official also warned that if Iran continues trying to prevent commercial tankers from transiting the Strait of Hormuz, the current ceasefire could be at risk of collapsing.
