The IDF says it is continuing operations at the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon

By Sammy Tisser,

The IDF says it is continuing operations at the Ali Taher ridge in southern Lebanon, where it says around 30 Hezbollah operatives remain inside a vast underground tunnel complex.

The military says at least six Hezbollah operatives were killed today after being identified as threats to Israeli troops. According to the IDF, five operatives were spotted by Golani Brigade soldiers near Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, while an armed Hezbollah operative was identified separately by the Commando Brigade in the Ali Taher ridge area. The Israeli Air Force and ground troops then engaged the operatives, killing them.

"The IDF will not allow Hezbollah terrorists to exit the underground tunnel network or operate in the area of the ridge," the military says.
