On Wednesday, the IDF said it carried out several strikes in southern Lebanon after identifying threats to troops operating in the Ali Taher ridge area near Nabatieh.

According to the military, two armed Hezbollah operatives were spotted approaching forces in the security zone and were targeted in a joint operation involving ground troops and the Israeli Air Force. Later in the day, the IAF also struck a vehicle after it crossed the ceasefire line into the security zone and was deemed a threat to Israeli forces.

Lebanese media reported that two people were killed in a strike near Kafr Rumman, while additional reports said two fatalities were recorded in the vehicle strike. The IDF said both operations were carried out to remove immediate threats to troops in the area.
