The IDF says five soldiers were wounded in a Hezbollah drone attack in southern Lebanon early this morning, including one who was seriously injured.
An FPV drone exploded near a tank operating in the Kfar Tebnit area near Nabatieh at around 6 a.m., leaving four troops wounded by shrapnel. A second explosive drone struck a vehicle evacuating the casualties just minutes later, injuring another soldier. The IDF says one soldier is in serious condition, two were moderately wounded, and two others sustained light injuries. All were airlifted to a hospital, and their families have been notified.
In response to the attack, the IDF shelled Hezbollah infrastructure in the area with artillery fire.
