Iran announced it had canceled its planned strike on Israel

By Bernard Moerdler,

Iran announced it had canceled its planned strike on Israel, but Iranian officials had set a condition that Israel withdraw from southern Lebanon, which Israel rejects, and Iran has not said whether it would fire if Israel does not withdraw, according to Ynet. The agreement also removed from the agenda any discussion of Iran's missile program and its support for its proxies, while the removal of Iran's enriched material and the dismantling of its enrichment facilities, both sought by Israel, are not guaranteed in the deal. Israel has issued no official response to the agreement since it was announced.
