President Donald Trump declared that the deal with Iran is "now complete" and authorized the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz and the removal of the U.S. naval blockade, in a post on Truth Social. "Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow," Trump wrote. The declaration followed the Pakistani prime minister's announcement that a deal had been reached with a signing set for Friday, though Iran had not publicly confirmed the agreement.
