The IDF is preparing for the possibility of fire toward Israeli territory in the coming hours following its strike in Beirut, the IDF Spokesperson said. Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir is holding ongoing situational assessments with all relevant commanders, and the military said it is maintaining readiness for a range of scenarios in defense and offense. The IDF said the public should show alertness, act responsibly, and follow Home Front Command instructions, adding that there is no change in Home Front Command guidance at this stage and that the public will be updated if that changes. The military said it "will not tolerate fire toward the territory of the State of Israel."
