The IDF says it carried out a precise strike on a Hezbollah command center in Beirut's Dahiyeh district after Hezbollah launched aerial targets toward Israeli territory earlier today.
According to the military, the facility "was used by Hezbollah terrorists to advance terrorist attacks against the citizens of the State of Israel and IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon."
The IDF said measures were taken ahead of the strike to reduce the risk of civilian casualties, including aerial surveillance and the use of precision munitions. The military added that it "will continue to operate to remove any threat to the State of Israel and IDF soldiers" in accordance with the directives of Israel's political leadership.
