CONFIRMED: Israeli officials say the Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes against Hezbollah targets in Beirut's Dahiyeh district after three Hezbollah drones detonated inside Israeli territory earlier today.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz said the operation targeted Hezbollah infrastructure in response to attacks on Israel, stressing that Israel "will not tolerate fire directed at its territory." The IDF also confirmed conducting what it described as precise strikes in Beirut's southern suburbs, with additional details expected later.
