President Donald Trump rejected Iran's account of their emerging agreement
By Bernard Moerdler,
President Donald Trump rejected Iran's account of their emerging agreement, saying the terms Iran had leaked to the media bore no relation to what was agreed in writing, in a post on Truth Social. "The terms that Iran leaked out to the Fake News have NOTHING to do with the terms that were agreed to, in writing," Trump wrote. He dismissed what he called Iran's "weak and pathetic statement on having a deal," called the Iranians "very dishonorable people to deal with," and said that with them "there is no such thing as dealing in good faith."
In the same post, Trump said an Iranian drone attack on Indian ships leaving the Strait of Hormuz the previous night had been "totally rebuffed" and was "TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE," and warned that Iran had "better get their act together, and FAST."
