President Donald Trump said he had cancelled scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening

By Bernard Moerdler,

President Donald Trump said he had cancelled scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening, citing discussions that he said had been brought to and approved at the highest level of Iranian leadership, in a post on Truth Social. Trump said the discussions and final points had been approved "in both concept and great detail" by all parties involved, naming the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. He said a naval blockade would remain in full force until the agreement is finalized and that the time and place of the signing would be announced shortly. The agreement has not been signed, and BNN was not able to independently verify its terms.
