BREAKING: Iran announced that it is suspending military operations against Israel, claiming its armed forces delivered a "painful response" to recent Israeli strikes. In a statement carried by Iranian media, the Khatam al-Anbiya military command said the attacks were carried out in support of the Lebanese people and warned that Israel and its allies should have learned a lesson from the response.
The statement added that the halt in operations is now in effect, but warned that any further Israeli "aggression" or "acts of malice," including in southern Lebanon, would trigger "much more severe and crushing measures" from Iran.
