Israel's Health Ministry opened its national health command center and instructed all hospitals to prepare for emergency operations, the ministry said. Following a situation assessment led by the ministry's director general and in line with Home Front Command guidelines, hospitals were told to be ready to operate in protected areas and to move into protected underground facilities if required.
