The IDF has now dispatched troops to the Kochav Ya'ir area following a deadly shooting attack that left one person dead and at least six others wounded across three sites close to the West Bank security barrier. Soldiers are conducting extensive searches for additional attackers while assisting medical personnel in treating the wounded. One terrorist was taken down at the scene by security forces.
The fatality was a 31-year-old man shot near Tzur Natan, while a second victim from that location, a man in his 40s, was rushed to hospital in critical condition. A gas station near Kochav Ya'ir saw two men wounded, one seriously, and a man and woman were moderately hurt near Tzur Yitzhak.
