Iranian drones struck Kuwait International Airport overnight
By Sammy Tisser,
Iranian drones struck Kuwait International Airport overnight, damaging the passenger terminal and wounding several people, prompting authorities to suspend commercial flights. Kuwait's Defense Ministry spokesperson Brig. Gen. Saud Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi confirmed the suspension, saying "a number of hostile drones" had targeted the airport's passenger building, severely damaging it and injuring "a number of individuals."
The attack was part of a wider overnight escalation in which Iran also fired missiles at Bahrain, leading US forces to strike an Iranian military facility in retaliation.
