The Israeli military renewed its broad evacuation order for southern Lebanon on Sunday, warning that anyone near Hezbollah personnel, weapons, or infrastructure "is putting their life at risk" and that "any building used by Hezbollah for military purposes may become a target." Army spokesman Col. Avichay Adraee posted the warning to X, framing it as a response to what Israel describes as ongoing ceasefire violations and Hezbollah attacks on Israeli territory.
The warning is one of many the IDF has issued in recent months as sporadic fighting continues despite the ceasefire nominally in place. Hezbollah has not commented publicly on the latest announcement.
