Tehran has informed Washington that any Israeli attack on Beirut or its southern suburbs would put ongoing efforts to end the war at serious risk and could lead to the complete collapse of the diplomatic track, an Iranian official source told Al Jazeera correspondent Ali Hashem. As BNN has previously noted, Al Jazeera reporting on Iranian negotiating positions frequently reflects the framing of Tehran-aligned sources.
