Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated, "For every explosive drone, ten buildings in Beirut should be brought down. This week I approved a budget of about two billion shekels for technological solutions to the drone threat. Among other things, the money will allow civilian bodies to propose out-of-the-box solutions and ideas." The remarks follow a drone crash in an area where IDF forces are operating in southern Lebanon earlier, with sirens activated in several northern communities.
