Israel took second place at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, with Noam Bettan's "Michelle" finishing runner-up in Vienna. Bulgaria won the 70th edition of the contest at the Wiener Stadthalle. Bettan, 27, from Ra'anana, performed the song in Hebrew, French, and English. The song was co-written by Bettan together with Nadav Aharoni, Tzlil Klifi, and Yuval Raphael, the Nova Festival survivor who took second place for Israel last year with "New Day Will Rise." It is the second consecutive year Israel has finished runner-up at the contest.
