Trump tore into Iran's response moments ago, calling the proposal "stupid" and declaring the ceasefire "on life support." Speaking to reporters at the White House, the US President stated, "It's unbelievably weak. After reading that piece of garbage they sent us, the ceasefire is on life support." Trump stated that Tehran had made commitments on its buried uranium stockpile during the negotiations but stripped those commitments out of the formal reply. He added that he had "an excellent strategy" to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, without elaborating. "How stupid are they? Stupid people," Trump stated. "They think that, well, I will get tired of this, I will get bored, I will have some pressure. There is no pressure at all. We will have a complete victory. We already, in theory, have a complete victory from a military" standpoint. The remarks followed his Truth Social post hours earlier declaring the Iranian response "TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE."
